PARENT/STUDENT ATHLETIC HANDBOOK
The Central Junior A Hockey League has provided the opportunity for many student-athletes to play hockey at the University level, both in Canada and the United States. The 2009-2010 season saw players get offers from Alabama – Huntsville, Colgate, Clarkson, Carleton , Mercyhurst, Niagara, Platsburg, Princeton and Providence. Eight Brockville players alone received offers in 2009-2010.
For Student-athletes interested in pursuing post secondary opportunities for hockey, we provide the following “Guide for college bound hockey players “. The guide describes the rules and regulations guiding university eligibility and opportunities both in Canada and the United States. The league is grateful to Art Nielson for preparing this guide.
